Mom’s Big Moon Adventure is a children’s book I created during my internship at NASA Glenn Research Center. The story is about a girl whose mom is an astronaut and will be going to the moon during the Artemis mission. She is nervous about her mom leaving, but once the mission is explained to her she is excited for her mom and looks up to her. Illustrations were created after consulting with experts on the mission to ensure realism and appeal to children were balanced.
